A brief retreat

Following our week long test of all on board systems we found out an error in our charge controller programming resulted in insufficient charging to the batteries. We retreated in an orderly fashion to the home of some friends where we were able to plug in. Point of Order: this traveling lifestyle is something not easily taken on. Just like every brick and mortar home, our bus has daily chores to be done and with less space for the daily clutter, it is all the more important to keep the space clean and free of food bits. Bugs are a real thing anywhere you go and they can contaminate the food supply bringing a swift end to a trip in the "wild".

Anyway back to the Orderly Retreat, we parked in the driveway and stayed with them for 10 days or so which allowed the solar system to recover the batteries and we made had great times with our friends. That is ultimately a goal of our many sidequests, to make lasting personal connections. For everything yall did for us, Pete, Shannon, we thank you.
